Discover the Delta Membership offers many benefits.   Individual members who support the Discover the Delta Foundation also show their support to the future development of the Delta through preservation, protection and balanced use of the Delta resources. In order to encourage business development in the Delta Region the DTDF has introduced their new Discover the Delta Foundation Membership Rewards Card.

The Discover the Delta Foundation Membership Rewards Program is owned and managed by the Discover the Delta Foundation. Membership cards are distributed directly by the Foundation to the members of the foundation.

• As of 2009 the initial card distribution will be mailed to the current 275 members who have paid their $50.00 membership fee.
• Each card is issued to an individual foundation member based upon the receipt of their annual dues of $50.00 or more.
  
• For each family donation greater than $50.00 and less than $500.00 will receive a membership card for each $50.00 increment of their annual donation.
• Each participating business agrees to honor the DTDF Membership Rewards card by offering a unique discount of their choice to the card holders.*
• Businesses who wish to buy multiple reward cards as employee incentives or as customer gift with purchase may do so by purchasing a block of pre-registered membership reward coupons which are redeemed to DTDF who will send the membership card direct to the individual member. 
• DTDF Card Coupons are pre-registered and sold in blocks of 10 for $500.
• Business sponsored DTDF reward card coupons will be imprinted with the sponsors’ business logo in the right hand corner of the card coupons and will be sold in blocks of 100 or more for $5,000.

In addition to honoring the Discover the Delta Membership Rewards Card each participating business pays an annual cooperative marketing fee of $100.000 to the Discover the Delta Foundation.

This $100.00 annual marketing fee provides the business

• one membership rewards card
• a set of point of purchase materials
• a window decal for the participating business
• a listing of their business name with discount offer on the Membership Rewards Card posting on the DTDF website

For $500 per year the business may purchase an upgrade which includes:

• Four membership reward cards
• Two sets of point of purchase materials
• Four window decals
• a listing of their business name with discount offer on the Membership Rewards Card posting on the DTDF website
• and a link from the DTDF website to their business website.

The DTDF will promote the Membership Rewards Program in the following ways:

• On their website
• In their newsletters
  
• In the Marketplace and Center
  
• In advertising and event promotion for DTDF

*Discount offers are made by each participating business that honors the DTDF Membership Rewards cards and the discount offer may change at any time by the participating business.
