A SPECIAL THANKS to all of the folks who helped with the HUGE job of bringing the Tower across Highways 12 and 160 to the DTDF site: The Dutra Family, Jim McPherson of McPherson Crane & Rigging, Cal Trans, The CHP and all the folks helping along the way. A heartfelt thanks is also owed to the very talented photographer, Rich Draper for documenting the Tower move. Our Market Staff and Volunteers once again did an excellent job providing local goodies and wine to all of the guests watching and cheering on this awesome transportation feat.
Next step is to erect the Tower - we will keep you posted. CHECK OUT DTDF's Founder and President, Ken Scheidegger on You Tube.
THE BUILDING
PG&E has made an incredibally generous offer of over 5000 yards (300 truck loads) of environmentally sound dirt as well as equipment and labor in laying down the pad for DTDF's 8,000 square foot Discover the Delta Education Center. Just one step closer to having our Center up and running!
